“I think, when I was younger, I believed in – and yearned for – conventional beauty. I thought there was a spectrum from ugly to beautiful, and that you could objectively plot everyone you saw along it.” ~ Rainbow Rowell

I’ve lived in Dubai, in the UAE for roughly 3 years in order to complete my Undergraduate Degree. However, although I lived there for that long, I didn’t really get the opportunity to travel as much as I would have perhaps liked to. Nonetheless, there are several places that can be accessed without a car, or places that I luckily were able to visit with friends at some point in time. Although I wouldn’t say that the UAE was conventionally beautiful, heres me sharing some places that I really did find appealing in their sights. For those of you who have been to Dubai or are living there right now, do these pictures look familiar? Or for those of you who haven’t seen Dubai, what did you expect to see? 🙂
